OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

Wanjiku is the heart of our operations in Kenya. She oversees all aspects of Kenyan operations from clearing containers through customs in Mombasa until books are delivered to rural schools. She is a self-driven IT specialist in web design, software development and content presentation. She is result oriented and enjoys providing quality services on all tasks, especially in academic consultancy and article writing. She also has data analysis skills with advanced level of mastery in Excel and intermediate level of understanding in SPSS. She is a single Mom. Her son JJ is 7 years old as of April 2023.

WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

Cosmos is always with the distribution team from sorting, stamping, taking care of warehousing matters, repairs of wooden cupboards, and when we go on distribution adventures. He is second inline if Wanjiku would ever be absent. He is a dedicated person and has proven capable of being trusted to take on LFK agenda as part of his mission. His ability to find solutions even without being asked to, his determination to get the job done make it easier always. He joined us when he was fired due to downsizing during Covid-19. In between distributions he does farming to keep up with daily needs, enrolled for a short course in mechanic, and does masonry. His skills in odd jobs have proven super useful at the warehouse. Cosmos is also in charge of finding any additional labor we might need, especially during warehousing activities such as sorting and stamping. He is getting married soon.
